The Human Resources Department at NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham, Massachusetts is seeking a Human Resources intern to join our team.

The Human Resources Intern will develop a knowledge base in employment and employee relations as they assist the department with administrative and project support in disciplines such as recruitment, new hire onboarding, legal compliance and employee engagement. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with preparation of new hire and orientation packets
• Coordinating the quarterly HSL Rocks employee engagement program
• Create and audit employee files
• Auditing, managing and tracking I-9 forms
• Provide back-up support to HR Coordinator by answering phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
• Additional projects and responsibilities will depend on candidate’s interest and availability
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills (written and verbal), acute attention to detail and must be organized. Exceptional customer service skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to work independently are required. The candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field with an interest in Human Resources.
This is an unpaid internship for the spring semester. Schedule is flexible but candidate must be available for at least 20 hours per week during regular business hours.
