Mount Ida Marketing Intern Job for ARAMARK

General Description
The Marketing Intern will help to a) support driving revenue through increased voluntary meal plan sales, dining dollars, and limited time offers b) drive marketing initiatives through campus relations and communications with peers c) support and assist the Food Service Director (FSD) and Assistant Food Service Director (AFSD) in carrying out events, campaigns and promotions d) assist in maintaining updated and current promotional materials throughout campus for cross promotions.

Duties include:
Revenue Generation Support Table for voluntary meal plan sales, dining dollars, and various location Limited Time Offer promotions Craft and execute an aggressive voluntary meal plan sale and dining dollar campaign Sample food at the retail locations once a week Design monthly “monthly saver” flyer to promote campaigns at retail locations Design Residential Calendar of events to promote Theme Meals & Spirit lifters Assist with executing the established marketing plan effectively and efficiently Coordinate data and information for RCA spreadsheet, DiningStyle surveys, and competitive shop Secret Shop Dining Locations
Campus Relations Communicate to students regarding dining services and voluntary meal plan sales Develop relations with various student groups for blitz emails and proper communication of upcoming promotions or dining services news Support managers with developing a relationship with admissions, orientation leaders, tour guides, and other influential student groups Create additional methods of communicating to undergraduate students, graduate student, commuter students and faculty & staff through flyering, dorm blitzes, handouts Serve as a representative to gather data for surveys, focus groups, and feedback from customers

Event Support Prep, plan, setup, and execute monthly theme meals in residential dining hall Coordinate FSD’s location events and spearhead population of the monthly event calendar Promote and execute GRO Promotions (Limited Time Offers) Communicate and rollout corporate programs and initiatives Plan and execute Commuter Week
Promotional Materials Create a schedule to assure all napkin inserts, posters and flyers are current across campus Maintain and oversee that content on CampusDish website is current Continue to develop a strong social media presence, introduce new social media, and increase fan participation
Social Media Support Increase ARAMARK’s social media presence within Mount Ida’s community through Facebook, CampusDish, Platform Texting Program and Twitter. Monitors and engages on various social media platforms by identifying threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our brand, then reporting to appropriate parties. Tracks website data to help form advocacy designed to implement data-driven decisions that assist in the marketing and financial well-being of ARAMARK as it relates to social media.

Knowledge & Skills
Candidate should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships. In addition, he/she should be able to coordinate with all the FSD and/or managers involved in initiatives to ensure the completion of the associated marketing programs. A high degree of organization, creativity and self-motivation is required. This person must quickly learn the market and services and apply the knowledge to crafting new and innovative ideas that will speak to the target market. A passion for sustainability efforts would also be helpful.
