JOB TITLE: Entry Level Paralegal

Reports to:Department Assigning Partner and Director of Human Resources
Status: Non-Exempt, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

Summary Job Description:
Performs all functions related to the case management support of the various departments and their clients. Maintains contact with attorneys, staff and clients and observes confidentiality of client and firm matters. Assists attorneys in all phases of a case.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Review document productions for relevance and substance.
•Prepare deposition exhibits and create deposition abstracts.
•Manage documents on Summation and other necessary software.
•Research factual topics related to cases.
•Meet, assist, and correspond with clients.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
•College degree

•Attention to detail
•Strong research and writing abilities
•Ability to use Summation or similar discovery software
•Ability to use Microsoft Office and/or learn new computer programs.
•A professional attitude and approach to people are essential.
•Possess the ability to concentrate and be flexible with diverse tasks in a consistent and orderly manner in a fast-paced environment.
•Work occasionally requires irregular hours and/or more than 40 hours per week to perform essential duties of the position.
•Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.
•Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.


WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
