Funeral Director/Embalmer
Full Time Position

Looking for an energetic funeral director with at least 2 years’ experience in all aspects of funeral home knowledge (pre-arranging/arranging, directing, embalming, transfers, etc.). This is a full service position which will focus on the needs of our local communities and their families. Responsibilities:
• Funeral Directors must have the appropriate state funeral licensure or the ability to reciprocate license from another state
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with families during time of need
• Assist families with arrangement process and direct funerals
• Assist with selection and purchase of necessary material for operation within budgetary guidelines using company approved vendors
• Assisting with families/services at two funeral homes
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to make transfers and perform preparation room duties
• Create and maintain a premier level of client family satisfaction
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Qualifications:
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of MA, or have the ability to reciprocate quickly
• Proficient with computers and technology with knowledge of MS Office Tools
• Must be able to work night, weekends, Holidays
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and well-groomed, professional dress and demeanor are required.
