We are looking for an afternoon babysitter (approximately 15-20 hrs/week) for our 3 children (ages 10, 8 and 3). Typical hours will be from 3:15 - 6 or 7 p.m. We need someone with a driver's license, a safe driving record and a reliable car since picking up and driving the children to activities will be required every afternoon. All driving is between Needham and Newton. Our ideal candidate is someone with childcare experience who is loving and also willing to do some cooking, run errands, laundry and keeping our household running!

Newton Household needs a Babysitter M/T/W!

Great family in Newton seeking a part-time nanny to take care of our 3 wonderful children (ages 3, 6 and 8). We are in need of care on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 12-4 (although for the right nanny I would be willing to change my work schedule to Thursdays instead of Wednesdays). Applicants must have at least 3-5 years experience, own a reliable car, be naturing and enjoy being outdoors or playing indoors. Non-smokers only, please.

Responsibilities include:
*pick up (our daughter in preschool and the 2 boys at their elementary school--pick ups are staggered so most of the days are spent with just our daughter)
*feeding the children (snacks and/or lunch)
*playing! They love to be outdoors or doing games and crafts indoors.

Babysitter needed for 12 year old daughter!

Seeking energetic individual who works well with kids to sit for my 12 year old artistic and creative daughter currently in the 7th grade. This is a part-time, regularly scheduled opportunity a couple days each week following school hours. We live at Nahanton Woods adjacent to Mount Ida and I am seeking someone who would be available Monday, Tuesday (either or both) and an alternating weekend night (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) on an occasional basis. Transportation is not required; however, would be an added plus and would be compensated. There are not pets.

Responsibilities would include helping prepare meals, light laundry, helping daughter organize homework. Hourly rate ranges from $15-25/hr depending on agreed responsibilities and experience.

Looking for a babysitter/nanny for a family with 2 small children, a 2 ½ year and a 9 month old.  We are looking for someone Thursday and Friday from 8am – 5pm.   Must have childcare experience but preference given to those who are either CPR, First Aid or Lifeguard certified. We are located right in Dedham which is about 15 minutes from campus.  You must provide your own transportation.  We also have a small dog so dog/animal lovers encouraged.  She will need to be taken out to relieve herself but other than that she is pretty independent.

Looking to hire someone Tuesday-Thursday to pick up daughter from Brookline Middle School and drop off at Oak Hill Middle School, in Newton. Pickup from Brookline Middle School at 2:30pm. 1 - mother's helper. someone who comes to our home 2-3 afternoons/evenings per week regularly to help with kids and house upkeep. help with anything and everything: from organizing the play room, to throwing in a load of laundry, to helping prep dinner, to taking the kids for a walk in the stroller or to the park. candidate would have to be ok splitting their time between children and house-related chores. candidate should have experience with children (9mo and 3.5 year old girls). candidate should be willing to help out with anything child/home related.

2 - nanny. someone who comes to our home 2-3 mornings per week regularly to watch my 9 month old baby girl. responsibilities of this position are mainly to play/interact with baby while mom works. making baby's meals, going for walks, fun activities.... those are essentially the main things i am looking for. additionally, during nap time, nanny may be asked to fold or put away laundry or dishes, but housework is not a primary responsibility here. extensive experience with this age is a must (baby is currently 9 months). baby has not had any previous baby sitters, and as a result, is very clingy.... nanny needs to be ok with this.

if i can find one person to fulfill both of the job descriptions listed above, that would be great, but not necessary. we would love to bring someone into our home that feels like family. someone my kids are excited to see every/other day. i am very flexible in terms of schedule, and we are walking distance from mount ida college (in the oak hill park neighborhood of newton).

11 year old needs a 2-3 day a week Afternoon Sitter!

Afterschool Sitter Needed for 11 year old girl in Newton Highlands

We are looking to hire a female afterschool sitter for our very mature and responsible sixth grader and are flexible with respect to how many days each week and which days. 

Specifics are:

·         Two or three days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

·         3:00 pm (or 3:30 pm) to 5:30 pm (or 6:00 pm)

·         Must have own transportation

·         Must be non-smoker

·         Responsibilities for our daughter would include:

o   Supervising homework

o   Playing basketball with her (or watching her play)

o   Hosting her and a friend after school some days

o   Driving her to a friend’s house (or picking her up) some days

o   Picking her up at school after play rehearsal (5:00 pm) some days

o   Potentially preparing (with her—she loves to cook) dinner for the family (of three)
