Summer Sitter needed for 3 in Natick!

Summer Sitter needed to assist in care of a 3 year old girl and 17 month old fraternal girl twins-preferably from mid-May in Natick near Wellesley/Weston town lines. The candidate will assist the primary caretaker (nanny, parent or grandparent) with the children. If comfortable, the candidate can take care of all three independently. Payrate negotiable. A car is required to get to our home. We have a car available to use with the children.

PT Wait Staff needed in Milton!

PT Wait Staff / Server Needed:

Fuller Village in Milton (an Independent Living Senior Community) has immediate openings for part-time Wait Staff in our Food Service Department. Work days are flexible. The work shifts are either 3-8pm or 4-8pm. Additional shifts may become available with business demands. Some Weekends and Holidays are necessary. Must be 18 years old to apply. Some prior Wait Staff experience necessary. This is a wage based position (no tips). Bartending experience is a plus. Must pass background check before employment. This is a smoke free facility. Position requires reliable transportation (public transportation does not pass this facility).

PreSchool teachers needed in Capitol Square in East Arlington Center!

We are seeking teachers for infant / toddler class and pre-school class who love children, have a caring and nurturing style, are enthusiastic, have good communication skills with parents and colleagues, are dependable and are interested in attending child care conferences and continuing your professional education.

Veterinarian needed at UMass Med School!

Clinical Veterinarian

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS), Department of Animal Medicine, is seeking a Clinical Veterinarian to join our Veterinary Services team. The Clinical Veterinarian will join 4 other departmental veterinarians, and will be responsible for preventative health, disease surveillance, and clinical medical services. The Clinical Veterinarian will also provide leadership and training for veterinary technicians, assistance with IACUC protocol reviews, researcher consultation, development of standard operating procedures, and teaching of graduate students and others. UMMS is a major research institution and is fully AAALAC accredited.

Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Animal Medicine or designee, the Clinical Veterinarian is responsible for providing and overseeing veterinary and preventive medical care to research animals.

Job Requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide services and oversight to assigned area(s) of responsibility within the division of Veterinary Services
• Advising Department Director on all administrative matters
• Hire/supervise/implement corrective action for direct report(s)
• Budget development and oversight for assigned area(s)
• General IACUC protocol reviews and consultations
• SOP development for assigned area(s)
• Meetings with investigators/staff relative to technical, clinical, and/or and research
• Teaching graduate students and others as assigned by Director or designee.
• Clinical and/or basic research in laboratory animal medicine
• Emergency on-call
• Perform other duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSs:
• DVM or equivalent degree
• Successful completion of national Clinical Competency examination or equivalent international certification
• Board certification by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine or equivalent international certification preferred
• Strong medical and surgical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with personnel from diverse backgrounds and at varying levels of education and experience
• Computer literate, particularly in word processing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Training and/or experience in laboratory animal medicine, especially with genetically altered rodents, is preferred.
• ACLAM board certification, or eligibility, is preferred.

Veterinary Technician

Please describe the position including responsibilities and specific skills

We are looking for a part-time technician to help out, at least through the summer. Some experience preferred, although we are willing to train the right employee.
Hours needed are Tuesdays and Fridays (either 8:30-5 or 12-5) and some Saturdays 8:30-1.
We are a small animal practice, and primarily treat dogs and cats. Some small exotics are also seen.

Salary $10-12/hr

The position is part time
