Dental Hygienist Position(s) – Part Time and Full Time

An ideal part time or full time position is available based on experience, schedule, and interests.

The responsibilities may include:
· Assist surgical procedures
· Provide anesthesia administration
· Perform dental hygiene on a limited basis
· Provide technical support and customer service with dental professionals around the world
· Assist leading universities with dental implant related research and clinical projects
· Organize and manage educational programs.

This position would require a highly motivated, well organized individual who is able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team. Candidates must show a pleasant and positive attitude, attention to detail, and be a self-starter.

Mastery of dental implant product knowledge and dental terminology would be expected over time.

The position would be based at Bicon’s headquarter located at 501 Arborway in Jamaica Plain.

Other Qualifications:
· Licensed in Massachusetts for dental hygiene and anesthesia administration.
· Must be able to multi-task, willing to play a hands-on role with every function, and capable of intelligently interacting with dental professionals.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment
· Proficient with computers and internet.
· Polite phone disposition, confident and positive interpersonal communication skills, strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
· Ability to fluently communicate in other languages would be helpful but not required.
· Sales or other business experience is desired but not required

Veterinary Technician-Neurology Department

VCA South Shore Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our well established Neurology Department.

Day to day responsibilities include: assisting with new consultations, recheck appointments, and emergency neurology cases that are referred from other departments; coordinating patient MRI and surgical scheduling; client communication, providing updates on hospitalized patients, and follow up calls; administration and monitoring of anesthesia for MRI and neurosurgical cases; daily management of hospitalized cases; discharge of neurology patients to their owners; communication with referring veterinarians; and participating in on-call coverage for neurology cases that require emergency services.

Essential skills include: proficiency in venipuncture; IV catheter placement; drug calculations; induction and monitoring of extended anesthetic procedures (including the use of mechanical ventilators); advanced nursing care of critical patients; and client education.

Candidates for this position must be organized, flexible, a team player and enjoy a relatively high level of interaction with clients so we inspire confidence that we will provide the best care and service possible. We manage high caseloads in a fast-paced environment so it is also important that the candidate be able to work efficiently in times of stress.

Our technician teams play an integral role in collaborating and providing support to both the practicing veterinarians and the clients as we work to provide exceptional specialty and advanced care to patients in need of our services. 7 and 9.5 year old girl needs a driver on Thursdays and Occasional Babysitter!

A very responsible student is needed to drive a 7 year old boy from school to his Hebrew class on Thursdays at 3pm. Both are in the Mount Ida area. The pay would be $15.

The same family needs occasional babysitting on nights and weekends as needed, at $15 per hour, in their home in Newton Centre, a very short walk from the T stop.  Car not needed.  They have a 7 year old boy and a 9 ½ year old girl.

· Strong working knowledge of computers including experience working with MS Office and be skilled in navigating the web, performing internet searches. Knowledge of SEO, social media applications/sites is a definite plus.
· SalesForce or CRM system experience helpful.
· Resiliency.
· Excellent communications time management and organizational skills.
· Have a strong sense of pace and urgency to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
