DUTIES:
Typical work assignments include:
·Performing clerical support work by applying procedures and practices within established guidelines.
·Typing reports, maintaining files, arranging meetings and preparing travel requests and vouchers as well as conducting research concerning the interpretation and application of a variety of rules and regulations.
·Receiving and directing telephone calls and visitors.
·Establishing, updating, and maintaining office records of various types.
Walk for Walker Intern Needham, MA
Internships will take place from June 2012 through early September 2012, culminating with
an event appearance on September 23, 2012.
Interns will be asked to promote our community event, the Walk for Walker through multimedia
marketing channels. This is an opportunity to utilize marketing strategies and even
develop a marketing plan.
Interns will be asked to liaise with local media to promote the event and will be asked to
attend the September 23, 2012 Walk for Walker to conduct interviews and review results.
This is a fun and flexible opportunity for a marketing major to create a portfolio of work and
earn hands-on experience while helping to build awareness for a local nonprofit
organization.
