Business Development Intern
Provident is currently seeking highly motivated undergraduates for its Summer 2014 internship program. Interns are exposed to a wide range of investment banking operations, specifically in healthcare mergers & acquisitions. Interns will rapidly develop their business skills through hands-on involvement in the investment banking process through interaction with clients and senior management. The internship program is full time and paid.
Interns are provided with a significant level of responsibility and will assist, as well as report to senior-level management. All interns begin their employment with a training session, which introduces them to our firm and our team-oriented approach in conjunction with teaching them the skills they will need – both technically and intellectually to succeed in a rapidly evolving market. A background in finance or business is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•Performing industry research
•Establishing communication with C-Level executives via telephone
•Tracking industry performance
•Preparing of marketing materials
