14-15 Season Long Professional Internship Program –
September to May.
The Huntington Theatre Company Professional Internship is a
full-time, paid, season long internship program which allows college graduates
to bridge the gap between their educational experiences and professional
careers in regional theatre. We seek candidates who are not only creative,
passionate, reliable, and have previous theatre training and skills, but also
possess the freedom of spirit to celebrate the diversity of our culture and community.
Winner of the 2013 Regional Tony Award, the Huntington
invites interns to be vital members of the organization, working alongside a
world-class, dedicated, and passionate company of artists, administrators,
technicians and designers. Not only do interns gain practical experience,
knowledge and industry contacts, they are encouraged to discover their true
potential in a creative and challenging environment that fosters both
professional and personal growth. The Huntington understands that all cultures
are vital to the vibrancy and relevancy of the arts and remains committed to
producing works, building audiences, and employing staff members that promote
equity and pluralism, and celebrate the rich communities of the Greater Boston
area and beyond.
Professional Internships are available only as a full-time
season commitments, from September to June.

*Calderwood Pavilion
*Company Management
*Costumes
*Development
*Education
*Electrics
*General Management
*Marketing/Public Relations
*Scenery/Technical Direction
*Sound
Professional Internships are available only as full-time
season commitments, from September to June. Depending on the season not all
internship areas will be offered or some areas may be combined to suit the
needs of the particular season.
Interns are paid an hourly rate of $8.75 and average 40
hours a week and are offered health benefits.
