Position Title: Veterinary Technician (Temp work) Overnight
Experienced technician with patient care of post-surgical hospitalized patients and working overnight. *The patients you will be caring for are orthopedic / soft tissue recovering patients from our specialty practice Boston Veterinary Specialists – knowledge/experience caring for these post-op surgical procedures is a must. Precise drug calculating, equipment use (CRI syringe & IV pumps, etc.), administering & knowledge of treatments (oral & injectable), iv catheter care & placement, bandage care, etc.
Must be able to work independently, accurately, and thorough providing the best

**Mid September 2014, October, and maybe through Novemeber
Generous hourly wage /Breaks are paid
The shifts are Wednesday(s) & Thursday(s) -Scheduled 7:30pm-7am. I am open to being flexible with scheduling. For example, if candidate is available 8pm-6am (I probably will accommodate scheduling specific shifts that work w/ candidate but also w/ the practice). This is open for candidates interested in 1 of the nights instead of both and also open to candidates looking to pick at a few of these shifts and not want or able to commit to the entire maternity leave
Salary: Hourly (based on skill and experience will be negotiated) with paid breaks

Degree Requirements: prefered Associates/Bachelors along w/ CVT
