We currently have the following position available: Merchandise Controller (2nd Shift)
The Merchandise Controller is responsible for the following:
- Ensures merchandise is seasonally appropriate and a value to our customer.
- Proactively addresses Vendor Compliance issues and ensures quality Vendor Compliance emails are sent to the Vendor Compliance mailbox with pictures if needed.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with hourly Associates, Distribution Centers Management, and Planning & Allocation.
- Educates associates on Merchandise Control topics and teaches the business philosophy.
- Special projects as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
-Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and apply them accordingly
-Excellent computer skills
-Flexibility to work all shifts
-Openness to future relocation for promotional opportunities
-Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, ability to be flexible, excellent written and oral communication skills.
Hours and schedule are subject to change according to business needs. In addition, you will be required to work additional hours, above your regularly scheduled 40 hours, to support production needs in the building.
