Position Title: Special Events Intern- Paid
Riverside Community Care is seeking an intern interested in special event planning within the nonprofit sector, to assist in the planning and execution of Riverside’s major annual fundraiser, the Blue Jean Ball, and Fall fundraising program. This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in learning more about nonprofit fundraising, event planning and marketing.
Responsibilities include:
• Corresponding with current and prospective donors to secure items for the Blue Jean Ball Auction
• Picking up and tracking Blue Jean Ball Auction items
• Managing supplies for the Blue Jean Ball. Purchasing supplies when needed
• Assist with event logistics
• Work with volunteers
• Attending Blue Jean Ball event - Must be available November 14, 2014
• Assist in producing Riverside’s Fall Appeal mailing
• Additional tasks as needed
This is a paid internship
Degree Requirements: Sophomore, Junior or Senior
