Merchandising Coordinator
The Merchandising Coordinator provides administrative support and assists with merchandise presentation, inventory selection, sales events and promotions, customer orders and issues, negotiation with merchants and vendors, and floor merchandising.
Duties will include:
- Maintain product information files, order and manage photography samples.
- Receive and organize new product samples.
- Maintain overseas and domestic product quote sheets.
- Organize and maintain copy sheets.
- Schedule meetings and travel.
- Maintain spreadsheets and buyer's catalog corrections, and other support duties that may arise
- Create and maintain quarterly Product Information Sheets
- Track and open packages and samples; coordinate movement of merchandise to sample rooms.
- Print and distribute all weekly sales reports.
- Attend team meetings with merchandising and inventory.
- Prepare analysis as directed.
- General administrative duties.
- Required Skills and Behaviors include:
- College Degree required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels and departments.
- Confidence with speaking and conducting product presentations.
- MAC and Power Point experience a plus.
- Possess high energy, adventuresome, responsive, focused and caring attributes.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
Degree Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree
