The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is hiring. We are a 24-hour emergency call center in Urbana, Illinois, and our technicians act as a lifeline for our callers.
This position assists in the management of calls that come in to the Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) hotline. When in this role, staff members obtain a complete history, document exposure circumstances in the electronic medical record, calculate dosages and use in-house protocols to either manage the case or escalate it to a veterinarian. You also have the opportunity to contribute to other projects as needed.
