Business Development Representative
SmartBear is looking for energetic, hunter-mentality, talk-a-holics to help us generate qualified prospects for our sales team. To support new business and account development efforts, you’ll be following up on leads generated from marketing programs and your own independent prospecting. You’ll work among a team of other BDR bears to leverage one another’s best practices and share ideas as part of an inside sales team. Those that exceed expectations will have a path toward Account Executive roles within the sales organization.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Build and manage lead development pipeline.
Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call.
Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects.
Proactively communicate SmartBear’s product and industry knowledge to prospects and customers.
Qualifications/Key Requirements:
Persistent, driven, articulate, and conversational.
Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Career-minded NOT job-minded candidates.
Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, v-mail, MS Office).
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Salary $40,000+ Plus Commissions. Base salary is based on applicable experience
