helping elderly or handicapped
She is very with it, sharp as a tack, and can see and hear very well
she goes out on The Ride a few days a week on her scooter.
She is amazingly smart and witty and unbelievable for someone 97, (she even watches the Bachelor/ette)
it's just that her body is very brittle and she is slow to move around,
mostly in wheelchair...a little shakey when walks with walker.
We would pay cash... $15-20 per hour
we are looking for some extra help:
- particularly SAT and SUN MORNINGS
- for 2 hours each am. And then as a fill in last moment,
- on weekdays, would be sporadic... time would be roughly 7-9 or 8-10am
- can be flexible sometimes.
But it will be sporadic and "as needed"
Really hoping the person/student has a car, or able to get transportation
(my grandmother lives about 5 min from the BC Campus)
Really (!!!) helpful if you live nearby
For reliability and weather sake
tasks each morning:
- help with shower
- help get dressed and get breakfast for her
- assist with morning routine overall
- 2 hours each morning on the weekends or as needed
please ONLY call if you are a student/ person with EXPERIENCE working with elderly
To apply contact career@mountida.edu for directions.
