Children's Fashion Designer needed!

Children’s Clothing Designer/Seamstress

Boston area start up is seeking a college student for execution of the children’s clothing line. Design input is welcome and appreciated. Excellent construction skills are a must. It is an hourly freelance position for someone who is passionate about children’s clothes and would like to be part of the start up.

Job requirements

• Ability to work independently
• You own your sewing machine. Fabric and supplies will be provided
• You are able to create patterns based on the drawings and execute them in a timely manner
• You have a great eye for design and anticipate issues
• You are willing to work in a start up environment

You would need a car to interview for the job, go to meetings with the employer in Winchester, and pick up supplies occasionally, but much of the work can be done remotely. Ana Milevskaja runs the web site www.fashionvortex.com and she is starting up this second business.
