Assistant coach

Intern will assist head coach for a rookie or youth lacrosse team (ages 8-12) with goal of providing character development through lessons learned by participating in team sports. Some team sports experience required, lacrosse experience preferred. Must have an interest in working with children as a role model, taking time to help each kid to develop strong communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities will include helping design practices and assisting during games. Off field, the intern will learn basic sports and youth development psychology approaches, while assisting with preparation for team activities, and follow up with student athletes.
