Overview: The Harvard University Department of Athletics Ticket Office is accepting resumes from college students receiving credit to fill our unpaid internship position during the Spring 2014 semester. Our internship is flexible for students taking class and will provide experience in ticket operations for events such as Football, Men’s and Women’s Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Lacrosse.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Primary duties include:
- Answering the incoming ticket line while
- Processing daily and season ticket sales,
- Fulfilling ticket orders, and
- Providing high quality customer service over the phone and during athletic events •
- Work under the direction of the Ticket Manager, and Ticket Office Staff Assistants with
- Have the ability to utilize the AudienceView Ticketing Software, and
- Assist with the preparation of games including sales windows, and
- Call for fans, players and coaches tickets
• Additional functions would include renewals, invoices, and ticket printing for season and/or individual ticket purchasers, as well as fulfilling recreational memberships for the Harvard Community.
• 25+ hour commitment per week.
Must be available for home games and be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive academic credit for volunteer hours.
