Happy Tails DDC is now part of Destination Dog, an alliance of dog professionals supporting the dog community.
We need more, great dog handler to join our existing team. Dogs play off leash, in compatible groups. The team environment includes: managing dogs, having a firm voice, being comfortable in an off leash group and ability to clean up after them. Must be physically able to stand for your shift, reliable and learn dog behavior and commands. Experience with dog group dynamics a plus or will train the right candidates. Must be over 18. Your growth is based on your motivation and grasp of daycare concepts. Are you the handler we are looking for??
This IS a permanent position. We are open 365 days per year and are staffed on ALL HOLIDAYS. Shifts available: MORNING shift, 6:30am to 12 noon and AFTERNOON shift, 1:30pm to 7 pm. You can combine shifts also. The shifts are not flexible. If you cannot work these designated shifts, or do not want to work holidays or weekends, please do not apply. Also please check that Franklin, MA is within a reasonable driving distance from your location. AFLAC Benefit Package, medical insurance (full time only), usage of Grooming equipment and Free Daycare for your dog are included in your compensation.
Training Time $8/hr,
