Radio Sales Assistant

Details:
We are looking for a fast-paced, creative, intelligent go-getter to join our sales team as a Sales Assistant. You will be involved in all areas of radio and sponsorship selling including research, presentation and execution. If you can think fast on your feet, like intensive but rewarding work and can balance your workload, please send us your resume immediately.

• Presentation Support:
Partner and strategize with Account Executives to create original, unique, professional proposals.
Provide lead generation and research support utilizing industry and company resources, internet search engines and directories)
Create station Media Kits and One Sheets
• Promotions Support:
Organization and execution of deliverables for multiple events and programs, simultaneously
Create compelling recaps for broadcast and web promotions and pull air-checks and screen shots
Promotional assistance as it relates to client needs
Design web pages and banners and traffic web inventory for clients.
• Order Management:
Input orders/revisions with accuracy, check and correct confirmations and follow-up on invoices
Write creative and concise copy for clients including interaction with production department
• General Administrative Support:
Typing, filing, faxing, emailing, mailing and answering phones
Manage Account Executives’ contacts and calendars (ie: call to confirm appointments, send confirmations to clients, etc.)
Maintain management and reporting systems (ie: AE client lists, leads, etc.)
Communicate professionally with clients daily and be a solution provider
Complete miscellaneous projects as needed

Experience:
• Experience in an office environment & general business knowledge of office procedures, including filing, writing business letters and organizational skills.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite products including EXCEL, POWERPOINT and WORD

Requirements:
• Ability to deal effectively with tight deadlines, and the diverse needs of, management, clients and Account Executives, with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable and responsible when completing daily tasks
• Initiative and ownership of projects
• Must maintain a positive attitude when communicating with members of the department, customers and outside vendors
• College Degree preferred
