Responsibilities:
-Interacts on the phone for 1-4 hours per day, fielding product queries, cultivating relationships, and pursuing sales leads
-Ensures consistent, high-level customer service
-Develops and follows detailed processes and procedures
-Performs in-depth research on relevant topics and presents information in various formats
-Provides input on product marketing, development, communication, design and related matters
-Attends national athletic events or conferences annually, on weekends or during the week
-Competently speaks about human physiology and anatomy once educated
-Accurately and efficiently creates price quotes and invoices
-Remains current about sports matters and developments
-Fields and categorizes requests for sponsorships
-Works closely and effectively with company departments
-Assists event and competition setup activities such as shipping, presentations, logistics
-Carries out varied administrative tasks in a highly organized and timely manner
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 6 years experience in a professional environment. Competitive athletic background as an athlete, personal trainer, or athletic trainer is a plus. Relevant athletic or sports business experience is also a plus. We also need someone who is extremely reliable, with excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and a natural sales ability. If you describe yourself as outgoing, results driven, interactive, and energetic, you have the personality we're looking for. Of course, we also need someone with excellent computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, social media, etc.).
