We are a very nice family looking for a wonderful part-time babysitter to provide after-school care for our two children starting in early September. We live just a few minutes away from Mt Ida!
We have 2 wonderful children- my son just turned 5 and he will start kindergarten in the Fall. My daughter is 7 years-old and she will start 2nd grade in September. My son loves superheroes, Ninja turtles, and fire trucks! My daughter loves doing arts and crafts projects, singing Frozen songs, and making Rainbow Loom bracelets!
We are looking for a responsible, experienced caregiver who is interested in working for us for the entire school year, and possibly longer.
In terms of the schedule, we definitely need after-school care (3-6:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and occasionally on Fridays) but we can likely offer additional hours, up to 25-30 hours per week, if you are interested in doing errands, light housekeeping (we have a housekeeper), and some cooking. My husband and I work long hours and thus, there would be many opportunities to work additional hours during the week, if you are interested!
It is important that we find someone who can drive, and has a reliable car. We need someone who is comfortable driving our kids from school, to activities (that are close by!), etc. We live in an area that is just minutes from the school, parks, and other great places to take the kids, but we are not within walking distance from public transportation.
Other responsibilities will include cleaning up after the kids, doing their laundry, running occasional errands, and helping prepare dinner.
