DUNE JEWELRY Executive Assistant Internship – FALL 2014 & SPRING 2015

Dune Jewelry The Original Beach Sand Jewelry Co. ™ in Hyde Park, MA is offering a unique internship / employment opportunity for two individuals to serve as Dune’s Executive Assistants. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in the Business/Operations of a jewelry company on a day-to-day basis.

You will work directly with Dune’s Founder, Sales Manager, and Creative Director, along with Dune’s Operations Team. This position will require a high level of confidentiality and discretion, as you will learn everything from the bottom up, at Dune Jewelry. Skill requirements in: project management, logistics & planning, Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, and administrative duties will be vital to completing tasks.

This position will also include additional opportunities within our production team, these will be discussed during the interview process.

Regular Tasks/Requirements:
• Support day-to-day tasks of executive including professional & personal errands
• Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
• Prepare marketing & research reports by collecting and analyzing information
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Conserve executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
• Maintain executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
• Support sales management team with order inputting & customer relationship maintenance

• 2-3 days or 15-25 hours a week (flexible schedule to accommodate class / additional positions)
• 2014 Internship : Aug – Dec
• 2015 Internship: Jan – May
