We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join Group One Partners’ with the capability to see an entire project through, from concept to execution. The ideal candidate enjoys the ideation phase, but finds building and leading creative teams on projects rewarding as well. You possess a winning and clear way of presenting yourself and your work and are comfortable in a project manager role as well as a team collaborator.


Job Responsibilities:
• Lead assigned design team in conceiving of the project design to meet the clients’ program, quality objectives, and project constraints for multiple projects simultaneously
• Oversee projects from concept through Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation and Administration
• Review all documentation to ensure they incorporate design intent
• Create & deliver presentations based on Group One Partners’ standards
• Supervise, mentor and develop designers & interns
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Interior Design from accredited program
• 8 - 10 years of Hospitality or Commercial interiors-related experience
• Experience with space planning, FF&E specifications, budget creation, industry vendors and resources required; integration of brand standards for hotel project experience a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership and experience with broad, cross-disciplinary project teams
• Strong AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office skills needed. Revit and Spexx program skills are a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task, be a team player, possess a can-do attitude, be a self-starter
