Veterinary Technician
Rapidly growing veterinary practice is searching for a trained/certified Veterinary Technician that loves veterinary medicine and wants to do technical work and work with the animals. We work up our cases and hospitalize sick animals. Do what you were trained for in veterinary medicine! Develop your skills working directly with animals in a setting of practice excellence doing:
Direct animal and client care, venipuncture and IV catheter placement, administration and monitoring of anesthesia, assisting in surgery, post-operative monitoring, in-house laboratory and microscope work, doctor assistance in dog and cat restraint, animal nursing and treatments, pack preparation and autoclaving, performing X-Ray studies, and additional clinical work as delegated by the doctor.
We are located in West Concord, a friendly village neighborhood that is pet crazy. Our clientele supports and expects a high level of veterinary medicine and this provides a chance to provide excellent care through extensive diagnostics and hospitalizations as needed. We are open 8-6 Monday through Friday and on Saturdays 8-4. Our office is located in a quiet setting and is closely connected to nature with parkland and trails near our door.
Salary is Negotiable
