We are looking for a warm, dedicated veterinary technician who will help our doctors and clients take the best care of pets.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the field, is confident about their skills, but is always looking to improve and learn. Good communication skills with clients and coworkers are a must.
Your job will require good patient handling (with intelligence and confidence, not force), good vena puncture technique, ability to calculate drug dosages and induce & monitor anesthesia, placing IV catheters, ability to take diagnostic films.
These are the skills that will be evaluated during a working interview to determine your starting salary. We are willing to train someone who wants to take this on as a career path and is willing to put the time and personal effort to learn.
PT (going into FT for the right individual) including some evenings and every other Saturday 9-1 pm.
All team players are eligible for quarterly bonuses based on whole practice success and their individual contribution to such. Starting salary depends on your experience and abilities.
Salary $10-13
