A local Newton woman has a daycare within walking distance of Mount Ida College (at the corner of Carlson Ave. and Dorothy Road). This is a Russian speaking daycare site, but she is looking for a student that would be able to come to read to the children twice a week couple of hours. She would like the children to be exposed to English. Responsibilities also could include assisting with art projects, educational activities, and development of curriculum/activities.
There are about 10-14 children at the daycare between the ages of 7month- 4 years old.
Schedule- Flexible and willing to work with a student’s class schedule.
Salary- $10/hr
