We are a Boston-based full service digital agency founded in 2006. Our fast paced firm is small in size and large in the volume of projects it takes on. Our clients include Men’s Health magazine, Dartmouth College and Coty Inc. We aim to help our clients identify their true needs online and in digital, create technology solutions and surpass expectations. Co-op students will engage with all team members, but be mentored by a Senior Designer / Front-end Developer.

Duties

You will be working on a mix of projects which will be comprised of all phases: concept, design, planning, wireframes, implementation and testing.

Applicants will need to be resourceful, self-motivated and an open minded team player who pitches in as-needed on client and internal projects. You will work within existing brand frameworks and design templates to create new landing pages and microsites. You’ll generate digital comps illustrating a variety of approaches to solving challenges.

Skills and Qualifications
  • HTML and CSS
  • Javascript a plus
  • Site Planning: IA, UI, UX, Design
  • Wireframes
  • User flows
  • Proficiency in tools and software for: visual design, information architecture and wireframing
  • Understanding of and interest in trends and changes in web, mobile and general digital design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, visual talent is essential.
The position is fairly flexible, and will shape itself to the unique skills of the intern. Ideally we are looking for someone who is not totally green. Knowledge of html/css is a big plus, but at a minimum the applicant should have a portfolio demonstrating some experience in designing for the web.

Location - We are one block from South Station.

Schedule

Three days per week is ideal — to be set days and continuous. However, we do not want to this to be a turn off to potential students so we are open to full time if the right candidate presented themselves. The time period can be negotiated. Looking to start ASAP. 3 days would be ideal, but we are open to 4-5 part-time days per week.

Compensation $10-14/hr based on experience.
