Marketing Intern
Needham, MA based education technology start-up company seeks young energetic people for non-paid internship. Be part of a team of education and marketing professionals who are developing and launching a mobile marketing platform designed for high school students to use during their college search process.
The internship involves working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work with other team members. This opportunity could lead to full time employment in the world of mobile marketing for the right individuals.
We are looking for people to work at least 10 hours per week, and the hours are flexible. We will also allow interns to work remotely if commuting to Needham is not possible.
We are seeking a student majoring in marketing or business with strong technical skills. Experience with social media. Knowledge of and experience with mobile apps. Experience with google documents.
- Sales outreach via email and phone calls to set up meetings for sales team.
- Build Database - Gather email addresses and names of guidance counselors and/or college admissions and marketing professionals for our sales team.
- Social Media posts. Writing and posting daily.
- Participation in meetings with guidance professionals and college admission professionals.
- Help with demonstrations of interactive media to high school students.
