Afternoon Babysitter Needed

AFTERSCHOOL BABYSITTER NEEDED
*ideal start date is March 31

Are you a reliable, experienced babysitter looking for a great family to work for? We are looking for a babysitter to take care of our two kids, mostly after school. We live 1.5 miles from the Mount Ida College campus. You have to be a safe driver & have a reliable car for school pickup and short drives around Newton/Chestnut Hill.

Our daughter is a 7-year-old who loves the Rainbow Loom, anything pink and purple, and intricate art projects. She is happy, sweet, smart, imaginative, and likes to help take care of and/or tickle her little brother. She is very social and loves play dates.

Our son is 4.5 and loves trucks, animals, pirates, and anything that his big sister is doing. He is very sweet and surprisingly empathetic for a 4-year-old. He is really good-natured. His favorite toys include legos and pirate ships.

They are both healthy with no allergies or medical problems. Our family life is happy and our household is loving.

We are both doctors and have specific schedules. We need someone who shows up reliably and on time. We can offer 20-30 hours per week. One of us gets home between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. We definitely will need someone available Monday-Thursday from 3:00-6:30, and rarely on a Fri afternoon.

We would also appreciate someone who could help out perhaps 2-3 mornings a week (7-8:30 AM), to help get the kids to school- these morning hours could be paid at a slightly higher hourly rate. Besides taking care of & playing with the kids, the job includes straightening up the kids toys and the areas they play in, and simple cooking for the kids. If you would like more hours and do not mind household chores, we are happy to give more hours for shopping, cooking, laundry, or light cleaning. There also can be plenty of opportunities for extra paid hours, such as full days when the kids are off from school, or days when we both have to work late (optional, and we will ask in advance if you want them).

We are looking for a babysitter with experience. We are of course looking for someone with lots of love, smiles, common sense, honesty, and energy.

Junior Recruiter in Lexington

“Wonderfully-Independent Tech Staffing Firm Seeks Driven Entry-Level Recruiter”

School’s out and you are seeking that first job, but don’t want to settle for the desperate-sounding one that you saw posted nine times today for that company whose website is down? Are you just starting your career and already experiencing a desire of wanting to earn more than your peers?

We don’t want you to settle either. That’s why we understand that success is not always defined by years of experience, but by your own ambition and eagerness to succeed. If you love talking with people, building relationships, and diving headfirst into the cutting-edge technology sector, we would love to hear from you.

Lynx is a boutique software and information technology staffing company with a strong reputation serving the world’s highest hi-tech community: Boston. With such a great demand for our services, we are looking to add a junior member to our team to learn our business and join forces with our senior partners to help recruit candidates for specific openings at our client companies.

This is by no means a “boiler room” environment with high-pressure closing, but we certainly do advocate for consultative selling – and we will train you to do exactly that for us when you encounter a prospective client with a hiring need. You’ll enjoy the rewarding feeling of helping great people land great jobs. You’ll welcome the challenge of building rapport and negotiating with key decision makers at various hiring organizations. You’ll embrace the back-and-forth “game” that comes with sales negotiations, and you will have fun in the process.

Sound pretty good so far? Here’s what we are looking for: Bachelor’s Degree, some sales or business experience, and strong interpersonal skills.

Lynx offers a unique compensation plan that is as limitless as your potential; we make major earnings available to you here – and as you grow here, so do they. We also offer strong medical and dental benefits, and a great location in lovely, historic Lexington Center; enjoy easy walking to food, coffee, shopping, and even cycling, as we are adjacent to the 11-mile Minuteman Bikeway.

Don’t take an entry-level job out of necessity! Love what you do. Lynx sees the value in employee matchmaking – it’s the very nature of our business! If our role sounds like it could be a great thing for you, please reach out with your resume and cover letter.
