Data Specialist for a fashion web site

The Data Specialist is an integral member of the Brand Management team, that is responsible for data management and analysis for our growing network of brand partners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage footwear & apparel data and QA process
  • Utilize knowledge of apparel & footwear to accurately analyze data
  • Balance multiple objectives, projects, stakeholders and goals simultaneously
  • Be cognizant of the “bigpicture” in defining and answering analytical questions
  • Organize an efficient process for reviewing quality of high volumes of inbound data
  • Identify areas of optimization for process and workflow
  • Work closely with technology team to ensure highest level of data integrity and enhance internal processes
  • Data interpretation and ability to resolve issues as needed
  • Requires data entry of multiple types of formats

Qualifications
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent experience in Apparel and/or Footwear Development, Retail, Business Administration, or Data Analysis
  • Apparel and/or Footwear technical design experience preferred
  • Understanding of apparel & footwear terminology
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Tech Packs/Spec Sheets, clothing construction, patternmaking and grading skills are a plus
  • Critical thinker, detail oriented with superb analytical skills
  • Impeccable values and integrity; no exceptions
  • Ability to think strategically under pressure triaging multiple time sensitive issues
  • Strong oral and written skills
