Position Title: Kennel Attendant (PT)
•Keeping kennels clean, orderly and free of odors.
•Feeding patients as scheduled.
*Supervising scheduled playgroups.
•Walking, handling and restraint of animals (experience preferred).
•Ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of hospitalized or boarded pets.
*Interacting with clients in person, on the phone or via email.
*Taking phone call inquiries from boarding clients regarding services.
*Booking boarding reservations for clients
*Checking in/checking out boarding clients ensuring proper paperwork is completed.
*Using computer system to enter boarding charges for patients.
*Be familiar with reading medical records to ensure pets are up-to-date on vaccinations prior to boarding
*Working with other team members to accomplish tasks.
•Stocking supplies as needed.
•Keeping the kennel area clean and orderly.
This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a maximum 8 hour day, and lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written directions, as well as speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone.
