Position Title: PFI Intern

Peace First seeks an intern for the Peace First Institute (PFI), based out of our national office in downtown Boston. This position will support all aspects of our Digital Activity Center and program partnerships, as well as some support for Fellowship program activities. This will include: assisting in the development of new content for educators, contributing research assistance, providing logistics support in preparation for Fellowship events, and interacting with educators around the country who are teaching the Peace First curriculum in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities
•Assist with new Digital Activity Center initiatives, including aligning curriculum with national standards, streamlining web content, and developing new content promotions
•Support development of new content through research
•Provide logistics support in preparation for a gathering of our Peace First Fellows
•Attend meetings with current and prospective program partners
•Draft and edit materials as assigned

Qualifications
This internship is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school program. Applicants must possess:
•Interest in helping to build a youth peacemaking movement
•Strong research and writing skills
•Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
•Flexibility, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
•Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, databases, and internet research
•Knowledge of educational pedagogy, social emotional learning, service learning a plus

Additional information: Time commitment of 10-20 hours/week desired. This is an unpaid position. Arrangements can be made for course credit based on your school’s requirements.
