KISS 108 needs a Sales Assistant in Medford, MA!

We are looking for a fast-paced, creative, intelligent go-getter to join our sales team as the Sales Assistant for KISS 108. You will be involved in all areas of radio and sponsorship selling including research, presentation and execution. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with Account Executives to create original, unique, professional proposals that will grab the client’s attention and facilitate the sale, as well as station Media Kits and one sheets
• Organize and execute deliverables for multiple events and programs, simultaneously, including our local large scale events such as KISS Concert and Jingle Ball
• Provide research support: Client/category research (utilizing TapScan, X-Ray, Media Monitors, RAB, CSG, the Exchange and internet search engines/directories) to help support lead generation
• Promotional assistance as it relates to client needs, such as booking Street Team appearances and facilitating online contests
• Create compelling recaps for broadcast and web promotions, which include air-checks and screen shots
• Input orders/revisions, check and correct confirmations and follow-up on invoices
• Write creative and concise copy for clients and work with the production department to schedule commercial copy
• Maintain management and reporting systems (ie: AE client lists, leads, etc.), and generate reports for managers upon request
• General Administrative Support, including typing, filing, faxing, emailing, mailing, answering phones and covering the reception desk when needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients and be a solution provider as needed
• Attend and contribute to weekly Sales meeting with the team
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by managers and AE’s

Experience:
• Experience in an office environment & general business knowledge of office procedures, including filing, writing business letters and organizational skills.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite products including EXCEL, POWERPOINT and WORD

Requirements:
• Ability to deal effectively with tight deadlines, and the diverse needs of, management, clients and Account Executives, with the ability to multi-task.
• Initiative and ownership of projects.
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable and responsible when completing daily tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must maintain a positive attitude when communicating with members of the department, our clients and outside vendors.
• 4 year college degree preferred.
• Radio experience a PLUS.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and video editing a PLUS
