Early Childhood Teacher
Our daycare serves infants, toddlers and preschoolers with a curriculum that emphasizes music and the Montessori philosophy. We have become very popular over the last year and plan to open two more centers before 2015. As a result, we are seeking experienced teachers to join the Rock & Roll family. As a relatively new daycare, we offer you the unique opportunity to share your ideas and passions and mold the kind of school we become.
-Job Responsibilities:
Infant/Toddler/Preschool Lead Teacher
Lead teachers will plan and implement a progressive curriculum.
Assist with supervision and evaluation of teachers and assistant teachers.
Act as a leader for teaching team by demonstrating a balance of compassionate caregiving and professionalism.
Evaluate children and engage parents day-to-day as well as in parent-teacher conferences.
Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher
Teachers will plan and implement curriculum in collaboration with Lead Teachers.
Teachers are responsible for evaluating children and coordinating parent-teacher conferences.
Provide compassionate care and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
Education and Experience:
Lead Teacher
Must have 2+ years’ experience in a lead teacher role
EEC certification required
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Montessori certification highly preferred
Teachers
Must have 1-2 years’ experience teaching in a classroom
EEC certification required
An Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Montessori certification highly preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
