She said there may also be a chance to use Revit and AutoCAD, and that it’s a very fast paced environment so the designers need to be well organized and need to be able to multi-task. At XSS Hotels, we strive for sophisticated custom interior designs that will hold up to the test of time.
We are looking for an Interior Design Intern to work hand in hand with the members of our top notch design team. The ideal candidate will be a student with a minimum of 1-2 years of Interior Design coursework or equivalent and be available to work 20-30 hours a week in our Hooksett, NH interior design studio.
Responsibilities:
· Assist designers
· Organize and maintain the design library
· Work on presentation boards for hospitality projects
· Write specifications
Qualifications:
· At least one year of interior design coursework
· Prior experience in an office or design setting is preferable
· Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast paced team environment
· Familiarity with fabrics and finish materials
· Must be professional, reliable and able to take direction well
· Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
This internship pays $10/hr. The hours are Monday – Friday and are flexible with your school schedule.
