Position Title: First Year Tax Professional
Utilize H&R Block's full scholarships available for current college students who enroll in our Income Tax Course and you could work as a first-year tax preparer for us! Does it sound too good to be true? Well it's not. H&R Block's Boston Northwest district has scholarships available to any current college student who enrolls in the course. There are no restrictions -- as long as you're enrolled in a college or university. The tax course is normally $199, but if a current college student applies, you will receive a scholarship code that waives the entire fee. Or, if a student is bilingual, there is a scholarship code for that as well.
Classes begin the third week in September and are offered at a variety of locations during a variety of days/times. Once December comes and the course is over and you've passed the exam and become certified, you can then apply to H&R Block as a first-year tax professional! You can set your own hours, working as often or as little as you'd like. Contact me today for more information!
Salary: $9.00 per hour ( once you complete the course, pass the exam and are hired by H&R Block)
