Adamo Stone Design is seeking a part-time sales associate with an interior design background for our high-end showroom. Applicant must have flexibility in working weekends and weekdays, with hours ranging from 30 to 35 hours a week. Full-time growth potential is possible for the right candidate. We are an established design firm preferred by homeowners and professionals for fabricating and installing some of the most intricate residential and commercial projects in the New England area. Candidate would be trained for product knowledge and stone industry requirements.
Position Requirements:
- flexibility with working weekends
- strong customer service and communication skills (both oral and written)
- strong organization skills
- exhibits the abilities and skills to handle projects independently
- background knowledge and/or experience in the design industry preferred
- sales experience preferred
The position includes the following responsibilities:
- gather client information and project details
- guide clients through the process of purchasing high-end (natural / engineered) countertops for residential and commercial projects
- assess client floor plans to accommodate pricing manager in determining stone layout and estimate details
- maintain Adamo's online inventory of natural and engineered stone
- assist in the scheduling of templates and installation
- assist Marketing Manager in various projects
Pay is $13-15 per hour based on skills and experience.
