Art Department Intern
Disruptor Beam is looking for an Art Department Intern to help find and organize reference material for our next title. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual with outstanding communication abilities and a demonstrated aptitude and interest in the art pipeline. This is a part-time, paid position in Framingham, MA.
Responsibilities Include
· Finding and organizing reference photos and information for our next title.
· Working directly with the Art Director and Assistant Producer to provide accurate reference images to our team of artists.
· Occasional playtesting and other related tasks.
Required Skills
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
· Familiarity with Disruptor Beam’s IP licenses (Game of Thrones, Unannounced Title).
· Knowledge of and passion for game development process, particularly the art pipeline.
Nice to have, but not required: Previous internship experience, familiarity with Adobe Illustrator.
