TEACHERS---Early Childhood Education---Mixed Classroom
The Positions: We are seeking two full time (40 hrs.) Bachelor-degreed Teachers who are licensed by EEC as a Teacher for both Toddlers and Preschoolers. One position is in Newton; the second is in Woburn.
These mixed classrooms will include older toddlers and young preschoolers; 8 children total. The teaching staff includes 2 Teachers who are supported by a Lead Teacher, an Education Manager, a Center Administrator, an Educator/Family Support Specialist and a Social Worker.
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies Gold and Head Start helpful but not required.
Who We Are: Communities United, Inc. is a 43 year old non-profit agency whose mission is to provide high quality early education and other services to children and their families. We have Creative Start programs in Waltham, Arlington, Woburn, Watertown and Newton. Our programs comply with HEAD START performance standards and EEC regulations. Our classrooms are staffed by a Lead Teacher and 1-2 Teachers; the teachers are supported by an Education Manager, Center Administrator, Social Worker and Educator/Family Support Specialist.
