Job Description
MassDevelopment's Recreation Dept. seeks an individual to provide support for the various tournaments and events set to take place in Devens, MA during the summer of 2014. The Recreation Intern will work alongside the Recreation Manager working towards a common goal of customer service and positive presentation of Devens fields and events.
This is a full-time temporary summer position; applicants must be 18 yrs. of age with a valid MA driver's license and have transportation to and from Devens; must be comfortable answering phones and dealing face to face with clients and residents in a professional manner; proficient in Microsoft Office; must be able to perform physical duties pertaining to lawn maintenance and set up of fields; must be able to lift semi-heavy objects such as soccer and lacrosse goals. Must have ability to work independently and be available to work weekends. College student enrolled in a Recreation or Sports Management program preferred.
We will pay $10 an hour for a 37.5 hour work week.
M-F 8 am to 4 pm at the Public Works Office
