I spoke with Roberta Teneyck who forwarded me your information to post an ad at Mt Ida for employment at Luxe Pet Resort in West Roxbury. We are currently hiring for 3 separate positions... Receptionist, Dog Daycare Supervisor, and Overnight Supervisor. Please email me back if you would like any additional information.

Dog Daycare Supervisor

Pet Resort is seeking a FT/PT Dog Daycare Supervisor. The Daycare Supervisor works directly under the supervision of the Head Supervisor and Manager. He/she is responsible for supervising dogs of all sizes in an off-leash group play environment. The candidate must have proper dog handling skills and basic knowledge of dog behavior. He/She must be physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and maintain proper cleaning protocols. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising and maintaining a safe environment for all dogs and cats; cleaning; feeding and watering of all pets; administering medications; record keeping; and taking pictures of pets. The Daycare Supervisor represents the Pet Resort to the public, therefore, it is of the utmost importance that he/she assure each customer of the best possible service and to be constantly courteous. In doing so, he/she must understand all policies, procedures, and service strategies, including knowledge of any special promotions offered. This position includes daily dog and cat handling, therefore, professional experience with dog and cat handling is a must. The Daycare Supervisor must also possess strong people and customer relation skills, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and be a team player.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar environment working with and handling dogs and cats is required. Qualified candidates must feel comfortable and enjoy working with dogs and cats. Must have good oral and written skills, work well in a team environment, utilize good judgment, and be able to follow both written and oral instructions. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work nights, holidays and weekends.

Pet Resort Receptionist

Pet Resort is seeking a full-time Receptionist. The Receptionist works directly under the supervision of the Head Supervisor and Manager. He/she is responsible for checking dogs in and out for daycare, boarding and grooming; answering busy phone lines; scheduling appointments; verifying vaccination requirements; supervising and maintaining a safe environment for all dogs and cats; cleaning and record keeping. The Receptionist represents the Pet Resort to the public, therefore, it is of the utmost importance that he/she assure each customer of the best possible service and to be constantly courteous. In doing so, he/she must understand all policies, procedures, and service strategies, including knowledge of any special promotions offered. This position includes daily dog and cat handling, therefore, experience with dog and cat handling is a must. The Receptionist must also possess strong people and customer relation skills, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and be a team player. Computer experience is required.

Luxury Pet Resort is seeking an Overnight Pet Supervisor. The Overnight Pet Supervisor works directly under the supervision of the Manager. He/she is responsible for supervising and maintaining a safe environment for overnight pets. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cleaning, feeding and watering of all overnight pets, administering medications, morning potty breaks, and record keeping. The Overnight Supervisor must understand all policies, procedures, and service strategies. This position includes dog and cat handling, therefore, experience with dogs/cats is required.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must feel comfortable and enjoy working with dogs and cats. Previous experience working with dogs and cats is required. Must work well in a team environment and on your own, utilize good judgment, and be able to follow both written and oral instructions. Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
