We has a unpaid summer internship opening. The position provides learning opportunity for a sewing alterations, custom design, home decor, and boutique's ready-to-wear apparel to undergraduate/graduate students who are interested in the field. This position (8- 10 hours per week, reasonably flexible schedule) has lots of potential with possibility to increase working hours and/or be a part-time position, if desired.

REQUIREMENTS:
Sewing skills:
Knowledge of both men and women's dressmaking and tailoring
Experience working with sewing equipment
Communication:
Ability to interact and communicate with customers, supervisors
Ability to learn new ways of garment alteration and sewing techniques
