Stepping Stones’ Infant Teacher Job Description--All employees of Stepping Stones Child Care Center, Inc. are responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment for the families that we provide for. In doing so, employees should be in accordance with the philosophy set forth by Stepping Stones. Employees must maintain professional, positive and productive relationships with families and colleagues. Stepping Stones is committed to upholding a well-run, respectful, purposeful early childhood program that will be responsive to the needs of its families in a professional manner. 

Qualifications:
¨ Certified by the Department of Early Education & Care as Teacher or Lead Teacher
¨ Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development/ Education, or a related field
¨ Must be working towards a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Development/ Education, or a related field
¨ Minimum of 2 years experience of classroom work (may include internship, substitute and/or floating Teacher positions)
¨ Certified in First Aid and CPR training
¨ Desire to work with young children and their families
¨ Must be a caring, flexible, energetic, responsible, motivated, and positive person
¨ Must have the ability to work cooperatively with other staff and administrators, and be supportive of coworkers.
