Cummings Properties is seeking an experienced intern to join our vibrant multi-disciplinary Architectural/Engineering department from June through August 2014. Responsibilities include: space planning and production of proposal plans for new clients, preparation of construction documents, site visits to verify field conditions and associated project administration. Current projects include new multi-story commercial, residential, and senior housing, exterior, interior, and energy retrofit renovations to existing buildings, and office, retail, and laboratory fit-ups. Prior use of AutoCAD in an office environment and a vehicle are required.
Founded in 1970, Cummings Properties leases and manages more than 10 million square feet of mostly commercial real estate north and west of Boston. The 600-person firm is based in Woburn, but also has a significant office at Cummings Center, Beverly, Massachusetts.
