We are currently seeking an experienced, part-time and full-time, veterinary technician for our vibrant small animal practice in Hamilton, MA. CVT licensure is preferred, or the equivalent experience. Our clients are kind and caring and very attentive to the well-being and ongoing care of their four-legged family members.
By way of background, we are a small animal practice, providing kindness and care, including surgery, acupuncture, well-care, international travel certificates, emergency services to dogs and cats, of all shapes, sizes, breeds and need. Duties include: assisting the doctor in the exam room, surgical support, pharmacy fulfillment, lab work, restraint, digital x-rays; as well as client scheduling, education and medical record review and periodic front desk responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should be able to lift 35 pounds, be positive, enthusiastic, compassionate and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. We are seeking candidates who can work independently, yet be a meaningful part of our HWVH team.
